So, what I'm doing is emulsion lift. And, you can see my hot steaming print here. I'm
trying to get the emulsion to almost, it's like blanching tomatoes. And, I'm going to
let it sit in there for a few minutes. Because, after this I'm going to get a tray of cold
water and the same way that you would blanch a tomato. That's exactly what I'm going to
do with this image. And, I'm going to put it onto a piece of watercolor paper. Now,
this water is just about as hot as I want it. It's about a hundred and twenty-five degrees
right now. It's steaming. And, it's a little hotter than that. It's about one-forty. And,
that emulsion is softening. And, as soon as I feel that it's just about right. And, again
you want to be really careful with this. Easy to get burned. I'm using these nice stainless
steel tongs I can really control. Because, there's no way I could stick my fingers in
there. That's just starting to peel just the way a tomato skin would peel. This one's perfect.
So, I'm going to put it on a piece of glass and I'm going to put some cold water on it.
And, I'll show you what's going to happen in a minute.
