Hello my name is Patricia and today I will be showing you how to introduce you to one of my favorite websites called http://thebeautydepartment.com/. First thing you will want to do is click on the internet icon either Mozilla or internet explorer. Click on the URL browser and type http://thebeuatydepartment.com/ After this you will be able to see the website. I will help you browse around the website and show you how to each of the tabs that are available this includes tutorials, hair makeup obsessions, inspirations, this or that, and about us. Now click on the Tutorials tab that shows you different project you can try at home this may vary from nails to floral water which is the first project that is shown on the website. Scroll down to browse the different tutorials . You may click on a picture which will enlarge the photo. Go ahead and on the left arrow which will let you go back to the tutorial webpage. If you do not like this option you can right click which will give you the option to open that same webpage in a new webpage. Each tutorial will show you pictures and step by step directions that will help you through that particular project. Lastly you can also scroll down to the bottom of the webpage to the left you will see a link that state older entries, which shows you older projects that were on the webpage. Next we will look at the next tab which is Hair. This tab shows not only how to do hair styles and other tips. The first the first tip they have on the hair tab is how to add moisture to your hair be creating a mask with avocado and vitamin e oil. Other how to include how to clean your curling iron, how to cut your own bangs if you are on a budget, and lastly how to add flowers to your hair for a romantic look. The next tab we will look at is the makeup tab. Which gives you tips on how to apply makeup. This ranges from applying lipstick, concealer, blush and so on. This site can give you new ideas on how to change your makeup form a day look to a night look if you’re a working professional who does not have time to go home and re-do your makeup. The tab obsessions ranges from things that the authors are obsessed about. This may range from today’s trends to neat gift ideas you can give to your girlfriends. The authors of the website also describe trips they take around the world from time to time showing what they did or what they want to share with their fans. Inspirations shows what the authors are inspired about. This may be a editor from a magazine, or again trips they have taken. Next we have the tab called this or that which shows different styles of makeup etc. This also had polls to say which style you prefer. An example of this is an eyeshadow they posted on the website. Lastly we have the tab called about us which is a page that shows where they have been featured.
