Now we are going to show you our major scale starting on D flat. So we would start right
here D flat is the bottom of the group of 2 black notes so you have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1.
Those numbers are really important cause when we read the scale or when we go to read music
on paper the scale is what is written on the staff. So you have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1 so it would
be space, line, space, line, space, line, space, line. Our important roots are we have our 1 is our
major chord, 2 is our minor chord, we are going to learn our 5,7 chord, our 4,7 chord
and our 6 minor chord. So this is our 5 important chords that we are going to learn on the left
hand and just so you can see the roots in the scale you have your 1 chord, 2 minor,
4,7, 5,7 and 6 minor which compose of all the black notes in the scale of D flat major.
And that is D flat major.
