a Fox News guest called the minimum wage the black teenage unemployment act minute Media Matters wrote this up this is former reagan economic adviser and also a regular Fox News guest art laffer some people consider art laffer I don't know about the father love the trickle-down economics fiasco but certainly a key player he was if not the father maybe I don't know the OBGYN who delivered trickle-down economics I don't know certainly a guy who was involved here's what he had to say about the minimum wage on Fox News kogi when I think they both agree on is is may be looking at minimum wage and re: you you have an idea for minimum wage at you think could encourage hiring ended in bomb okay government so what what is that plan yet with the minimum wage makes no sense whatsoever to be I mean honestly it's just the teenage black teenage unemployment act Andy if this is the very group that we need to have jobs not have be put out of work because a minimum wage so I'm really very much in favor of at least for teenagers getting rid of the minimum wage so we can bring them back into the labor force get them the skills they need to continue being productive members of our society for years and years I mean that's the way I can say that much weight without right so first the ball this is the trickle-down stuff Louis that hasn't worked for decades okay that that's number one second its kinda implied that he wants to prevent black teenagers from getting involved in crime right that's an undertone to a lot of these right-wing ideas have getting getting teenagers jobs but is a two dollar an hour job going to really provide number one the income but number two this stimulation to prevent people if you believe the night were right-wing narrative from getting involved in trouble two dollars an hour just get rid of the minimum wage Louis battle prevent crime right first the ball any economic adviser to raise reagan in my mind is just automatically the legitimization now the dated I'm by there's this idea here also that well if you've got a two dollar minimum wage for dollar minimum wage all of a sudden businesses are gonna open everywhere and people are just gonna start hiring people left and right because it's so cheap and all of a sudden you have this huge economic boom that's just not going yet the judge the kind of juvenile example as hold on a second if you need for workers but you can only afford three because if the minimum wage if you get rid of the minimum wage you gonna be able to hire that fourth worker at way less than the minimum wage but we already have examples of companies that make huge profits and they continue to actually not hire people to continue trying to pay the least with the fewest number of employees there's absolutely no evidence that they agreed that we see exist with all the sudden go away because you eliminate the minimum wage in it would just be bountiful it would be waterfalls and sunshine in ginger snaps Louis because we get rid the minimum wage you have to wonder if this guy actually believes his ideas for work or if it's just some guy who's lying trying to make the one percent a little richer
