Hey there,
Owen here. The other day I was just messing around
and was playing around with doing some
half kneeling presses and decided to put it into a chain.
Now chain is doing
single rep of a series of exercises
all in a row. So with this chain,
you're going to do one clean, one reverse lunge
When you're on your knee after the first lunge, you gonna press over head
so it's going
to be a half-kneeling press. When the bells overhead you're gonna stand back up
you're going to bring that bell down once
and clean again, and go through that any number of times.
Now for myself I was just using this to warm up
and to just get my shoulders loose and actual is playing around with it
in some waiter
presses and bottoms-up presses.
I'll just go through and demonstrate each one of those you can see
the difference and depending on strength level you might just go with the regular
half-kneeling process or
if you have some lighter bells you wanna play around with, try some bottoms up
or even the waiters style.
What I'll do is I'll do a chain, first regular press,
down to a chain with bottoms-up style
and the last one I'll do is waiters.
So basically
choose whichever one you want to do. Use it before you go into any sort of
press day, just to get your shoulder warmed up.
Keep it light, it's not about adding strength, it's about working the groove and getting the shoulder
warmed up.
Go and give that a try before you next pressing day
