Hi, everyone, this is Mrs. Clark with a few tips for sharing and commenting on documents
from your SMUSD Google account. First, if you're sharing this with a partner, make sure
you give it a name your partner will understand. Your teacher's name and the subject would
be good things to include. Next you want to click on share. You're going to add your partner's
name here. You may have to share it with your teacher, too. The school district's already
uploaded everyone's name in the district-students, staff, we're all in here. If you wanted to
share this with me, you can start typing my name, and you can see I'm the only Mary Clark
in the district. Click on that, and you can share it with me. I've already shared it with
Mr. Hall because I think this is such an incredible project I want the principal to be able to
see what I did. He can edit now. If I share and save this, I can add some comments here.
Because I've already shared it with him, I said we're going to get an A plus plus plus
on this project, but maybe I want him to review the spelling. Or the grammar since I didn't
write a sentence there. When I click that, he'll see these comments when he opens the
document and he can write me back. This is a great tool because you can communicate with
your partner here and not mess up your work in the document. I hope these two tips helped
you, and stop by the library if you have any further questions.
