Hi, I'm Helena, the director of Chefs, Inc. and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going
to be showing you how to prepare a delicious mushroom soup. Today we're going to use two
types of mushrooms for the soup but you can actually use any kind of mushroom you like,
I'm combining them together, it doesn't have to be just one. So, we have a white mushroom
and these are the cremini mushrooms and also just so you know you can see the difference
between these two mushrooms is that the cap underneath is open and there's space, this
is not a fresh mushroom, so we won't be using it. So, as a buying tip, you always want the
mushroom to be closed just like these. Now, I've already chopped up some mushrooms, we've
sliced some, some we fine chopped and so I was going to show how to chop the mushroom.
First, with the slice, we're going to slice it just like this so this will look nice in
our soup and we'll add these to the slices. Same with the cremini mushroom, just like
that, and when it gets to the end, when you're making the mushroom soup, what you can do
is just chop up those ends, just chop that up and put that into our bowl of chopped mushrooms.
Since I already have all of the ingredients pre-measured and prepared we're just going
to start with the cooking of the mushroom soup.
