Hi, I'm Patricia Longo and I am celebrity make-artist. I have worked with models from
Sports Illustrated like Brooklyn Decker and Julie Henderson to Alec Baldwin at 30 Rock.
All those things that experts do that the average person doesn't know how to do, will
learn how to do it on these videos. The basic for eye make-up to me is there are 4 things
you need to have on your eyes. One is the eye shadow first, and then I usually like
to use eyeliner. Like I said with eye liner you can use cake liner, liquid liner or pencil,
whichever one you feel comfortable with and mascara, mascara, mascara. I love all my mascaras.
And the one thing that people seem to forget is choosing the right concealer because at
the end if you put your eye shadow, your eye liner and your mascara and you still have
those dark circles around your eyes or you are not covering those bags, your eye make-up
is not going to look good at all. So concealer is one of the most important and final factors
in the four things I love on my eyes. A lot of make-up artists have different techniques
but we all have one technique that's the same. The first thing that we apply on the eyes,
on the eyelid, is then eye shadow. Then we usually go for the eye liner and then we do
mascara. Now some make-up artists like putting concealer on first and some make-up artists
use concealer last. There is no yes or no or wrong or anything, it depends on how dark
your circle is. I sometimes put concealer on before and I touch up at the end my final
flaws. Some people only do it at the end some people do it in the beginning. It all matters
on your own circle around the eye and to me concealer, like I said, tops it all. If you
do choose the right concealer your eyes will look fabulous.
