We like to introduce to youFightstarTV.The internet video channel for all ringsports and martial arts.
And also the biggest tv-station for martial arts in Europe.
The launch took place August 2009 in the Euroborg Stadium in Groningen, with great interest from the press and athletes.
The station has been launched under the name Kickbox TV, by K-1 legends Semmy Schilt and Peter Aerts.
It is clear that kickboxing a very popular television sport is. Glitter and glamour combined with skills results in a large audience
Two Dutch business men saw this niche market and launched KickboxTV
an initiative with which they want to create a world wide ip-television channel.
The station was renamed as Fightstar TV at the end of 2010 as we decided tot broadcast...
an increasing number of different sports, including
Olympic sports like boxing, Teakwondo and Judo, and also less noted sports like
Karate, Kung Fu, Aikido, Hapkido etcetera.
this way, FightstarTV offers both the quality and intensification that was needed.
Welcome to FightstarTV! Since its start in 2011 FightstarTV has reached an audience of
2000 to 5000 unique visitors a day. The number of pageviews is now between 30000 to 50000
per month. These numbers grow every
month and our expectations for the whole of 2012 are therefore more than: 2.0 million
unique visitors and 5 million pageviews. FightstarTV.com is now the internet ...
television channel that works together with the largest associations and unions to gain the most
possible public support for ring sports and martial arts in general.
FightstarTV has up until now build it all up by itself and has produced all needed supplies in-house, like multimedia graphics, audio, animations and video in house.
This our great strength because it allows us maximum freedom and flexibility when creating
productions and also means we have nearly no overhead!
The key for us is multi media; filming, directing, audio, animation and graphics of events that
are made available to viewers free of charge, in order to reach as many sports fans as possible.
Here is the compilation of our archive.
Research of the I.O.C.-N.S.F shows that regular practicing of fight sports results in: strong anxiety
reduction, more perseverance and dedication, bigger autonomy, improved self-control,
more self esteem, less feelings of vulnerability, more social-involvement, increase of tolerance
and adaptability.
Sport in general is an important part of society because it improves health, it gives identity and offers a chance to join, increases self-confidence and
join, icreases self-confidence and skills and helps spreading norms and values.
I expect it will be a great channel and that many fights are broadcasted.
Therefore we would like to talk with you about the possibilities for both parties.
