Way to the Nations update: Love has no frontiers!
We're reporting from this region of Anapolis, with our family, getting away from carnaval,
and the internet connection here is bad, so my message will be as quick and efficient as possible.
In Senegal, the project of Way to the Nations called Chemin du Futur, the Way to the Future, we have as objective not to collect children,
but rather we shelter, nurture and raise them. Not only having them during the day and letting them go at night back to the streets or to their slavery ghettos.
And as so, we have in Senegal a big group of children and now they're going to school, they are students, they have their backpacks, uniforms,
and as we've moved to a bigger building, a four stores, we face the problem that this building is distant from school and the centre of Dakar,
where things are very expensive. So, I'm asking now your help in order to buy a van. A van in Senegal cost about U$ 3500 dollars.
I know we can get this amount as we did so many times before: UNITED!
With this van, we'll be able to take our kids to school in different shifts, also allowing our team over there to be mobile,
to go to Dakar and back as necessary for medical assistance, for the reconciliation of kids with their families...
Our need for this van is really urgent! It's been a while Mark, the director of the orphanage, has been asking us for this vehicle.
He's been putting his own money towards the acquisition of the van.
I know we can do that! It'll be a huge gift to the kids and I already thank all of you, for any effort you can do about it,
we, the way of grace amid the nations, thank you from our hearts!!
This is Marcelo Quintela, signing off the Way to the Nations update, from Anapolis, Brazil.
Lots of money is spent in cabs for many regions lack public transport.
