I work at the thrift store and at a food bank.
And at a thrift store we sell clothes for like very very cheap
to people that can afford going
to like Bells or all of these other stores.
And we make sure that they have enough to get
by like through the winter time.
And if that they have children we make sure that they have
like jackets and if the children want teddy bears
or something we give them that for free.
And at the food bank we pass out food
for each person they get a certain amount
and we just make sure that they have enough for
a week at a time.
I volunteered to do this because my mom and my grandma were
very active and volunteering
and I saw how much fun that they're having.
So started doing it and I
saw I was actually putting something into my community
and I kept on doing it.
Well they could go to the counselor or to
if they go to church a pastor and they could talk to them if they
want to volunteer.
And from there I think that they could get guidelines on
how to join certain and clubs or anything on how to volunteer.
It makes me feel really great because I could help other people
that are going through a tough time in this economy.
