He's always happy when we see him on the streets...
He always have time to have a chat to us and we do him.
and he keeps a lot of people happy.
I think that Deans
a damn good musician I do.
A first class musician.
I already said he's gonna be the best busker in the business.
Well... I think erm... I went through a rocky time at the time.
I actually had...
agoraphobia
for two years...
and because I was incarcerated in the house.
I had this notion to write
to write words and rhymes.
and it sort of went from there really.
I think I had been playing a little while.
Playing my guitar but i never thought i was good.
I just used to leave it there
as just an ornament in the room.
I just thought one day let's turn the poetry into songs.
So with all your poetry and songs
It's got you through some bad times has it?
yeah
so you were...
homeless at one point.
I was years ago yes...
how was that?
well i must have been out about 9 months...
I remember it was snowing...it was bloody awful...
I been through some hard times...
You've been there, seen it all.
Yeah the lines on my face need pollyfilla now. to smooth them over...
Out in the snow nowhere to go, a small child, love she'll never know. you'll never know
A man alone going to and fro, a desperate man walks for someone to show.
Catch a train, coming back again...
too much to drink a missing link someone out there feeling the pain
someone on the brink, life just stinks notice me. she took the pills speed kills
some emptiness to fill her lonliness stil
at the bottom of the hill, been through the mill. wiped deep in bills taking sleeping pills
notice me
A mans lost the love, he's had enough, trouble in the flats up above, a life so tough sleeping rough
someone must if only they could... notice me
does anyone care if i am here someone near, someone to share, are you aware can I see
it clear
it's not fair do you really care notice me.
In the busy crowd there he stands all on his own.
You can hear him sing out loud his reasons are unknown.
Exiled from the business, surviving on the streets.
For comments
he don't care less, the stage is the concrete.
his coins are all his treasure his songs are his sanctuary, his guitar is his leasure, the streets are his desinty.
he's got no time for the politics of music
he lives his life on the line with busin he'll get his kicks. escape
on the streets they play
busing all of the days
on the streets there only way
buskin all of the days.
his verse and some of his poems inspire me
for a great deal that
i shall probably buy one of his books.
when you do this job
you get a lot of *** from people so it's always
nice to have a friendly face you can chat to.
I got a guitar today
When he's 40 he'll be a millionaire
well i think really
honest to speak the truth
Dean is not getting the recognition his talents deserve
I know talent when I see it.
