Amanda Ramirez, Bachelor of Business Administration

♪ music ♪ My life is very busy. I'm not only a student but I also work full-time as a project manager and I have two children. I feel like a college education is extremely important to an individual's success. That combined with the fact that I want to lead by example for my children is why it's important to me to get a degree. I transferred to KU Edwards campus because it offered not only a flexible schedule but the degree that would provide me a competitive advantage. The MetroKC Rate allows me to attend college at The University of Kansas and not have to pay out-of-state tuition. My goal is to get a master's degree and then advance into a management position. I'm Amanda Ramirez: a mom, a wife, and a project manager at a benefits company but I'm still able to get my business administration degree. With KU, I can do anything. ♪ music ♪
