Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip
we are going to talk about the outdoor environment while boarding. For however many dogs that
we have here we always keep it clean and we try to pick up their poop immediately and
dispose of it in the trash in a garbage bag so that we don't ever have any problems with
pathogens and that sort of thing coming from the grass as a lot of germs do tend to hide
out in their fecal matter. Shaded areas are always nice so when the dogs are outside they
can take advantage of that and lay in the grass and enjoy those areas. Another important
aspect of outdoor environment is a well made fence, a nice stockade fence. As you can see
this one is privacy and the dogs don't get to see any of the distractions from the outside
world at least that aren't inside this yard so that is an important thing. You also want
to try to keep at least two gates between the dog and the outside world so there is
always dead space. This has been Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg of Miami Dog Training.
