Hello, my name is Denise Robinson and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how
to create a decorative pillow. Here we have our final decorative pillow. Just to recap
what I did I took an existing pillow that I had already, had a solid back and a prepped
front. I took some rope, cut it, put tape on the end so that it wouldn't unravel, attached
it to my pillow on all four sides. Then I took a piece of fabric, cut it to the top
part size of my pillow, turned the edges and put some seam tape to iron it down for it
to stay. I did it on three sides with the fourth side being folded, took some large
buttons attached them, sewed them on to each corner. Now I'm going to put it all together
attaching the rope to the ends, across over to the buttons on all four sides. There you
have a decorative pillow that you can switch out at any time and if you get tired of the
whole design just take out that rope and you'll still have your original pillow. You can change
this fabric anytime you want to and it's always fun to change and add new things to your home
to make it stylish and decorative.
