Erik: Where has your family have been most supportive in your career development?
Randall: On so many different levels, Erik. My family has been A-number one right there
behind me the whole step of the way. Whenever I've come to a crossroads, let's say where
I wasn't sure if the current position that I was working in with a given company was
really taking advantage of my skills and experience, having the feedback of both my mom and dad
in terms of what they might—may recommend if it's something that I might do better at
within the current job or do I need to take a step back and look at, well, hey, you know,
what else is out there that might be better geared towards Randall. And, you know, what
more can I give back and maybe I'm in a position that isn't necessarily cut out for me and
it's not benefiting the company as well, so I think as we're talking about life being
as short as it is and really taking advantage of the time you're given here on earth is
have feedback from my family of, you know, are you really maximizing your—are you doing
your best? Are you at your best? And I think we should always strive every day when we
are fortunate enough to get out of bed whether it's through friends or family or the feedback
we're given with the community around us, what are we doing that's best geared towards
our personal existence.
