It's a great joy to be over here at the River Jordan
a really deeply moving spiritual experience
to be here exactly where Jesus was baptized
where John used to baptize people and take people to the Lord
For me it was moving
because I could pray for myself
bearing my own baptism
and praying for my own people back in Bombay
in India
for all Christians
for this baptism is so important.
For the moment,
when I felt once again like committing myself to God and God's service
and I think this would be a moving experience
for anybody who comes over here.
There are pilgrims that I met that are from Germany,
there are others from other parts of world,
who've come over here,
and I really do recommend that you come over here if you can,
pray over here,
join yourself spiritually to Jesus,
to all those who were baptized by John
and who are being baptized all over the world,
being committed to the Lord.
I want to thank those who organized this pilgrim mission.
