Gifts cards are very popular in Ontario, did you know that one and a half billion dollars
worth of gift cards are sold here each year. Here is what you need to know if you're going
to be buying or using a gift card: first, most gift cards sold in Ontario do not have
an expiry date - these include gift cards for specific retail stores; second, fees and
any other deductions cannot be made on your gift card. But there are some exceptions.
