the house is considering a bill called a stop online piracy act uh... it says similar to what the senate has already passed out of committee that's protected by piak now these sound good right were protecting intellectual property was stopping piracy who's in favor of pirates right up thank god there's of course bipartisan the republicans and democrats have finally gotten together to make sure that uh... um... perot rifle owners of copyrights are protected online dot is that what is actually doing of course not look out i think that copyright owners should be protected honestly there's way too much of pirated movies songs etcetera etcetera and i know it's a some people jiggling the hahaha i didn't get it for free now i have not inactive but all i think it's killing even call me square you can call me grandpa doing or maybe a light but it's not right you should pay for that meteor okay having said that the bills that they have prit produced now sold brought there are so outrageous into exactly what they did project so first of all by this new bill in the house will create new cause of action he has a wide range of internet sites for facilitating copyright or trademark infringement that's the stated purpose plot look at what happens as simple allegation said that the financial aid advertising that works would be sufficient the start the process so all you need is someone saying yeah i've been that's my copyright uh... and i'm gonna use it against the will and shut down maybe all of you to maybe you all do i'm not getting what do you see the rest now directly first websites that are based in the u_s_ right well the house version also applies at the domestic companies why 'cause they want to be able to control the whole internet they don't really give a connected to it you're gone now has more than a company on the internet gonna survive if you'd be getting hit with all these legal bills whether it's even justified or not they're not going to survive with so they know the people that are either providing the broadband for for example google or face book or put our netflix any of these guys right any company your company uh... what a whether it's they don't like your website they showed up under the allegations that you are rolled and that you might be waking to someone that is copyrighted material effect even if you are not doing a commenters doing a your website can be done and google could be gone for a link into your web site okay so you think in this bill is so nice it probably is no chance of passing the wrong again bob it is got wide bipartisan support well grupo republican but why don't like we're giving out monopolies the large companies jumpy they love it the democrats was you can see from the list of people who are in favor this filled it reads like it democrats who's who of uh... democratic uh... party funders so who is in favor of what they call soap opera hollywood studios because they say you know what on the wall without the content and i want to be able to charge against billion dollars back content and if i can not only shut down the pirated stuff which is right and we know that they should do but i could then control other sites with this threat i'd rather go well i could show that your site right or wrong or you'd be paying a lot more money again a monopoly that they were right policy is in favor trial lawyers every article i read said this would be any norma spoon to trial lawyers catholic we don't even care who wins but there was no lawyered-up warner brothers has the laura it'll mean democratic senator chris dodd there's a ton of money to democrats trial lawyers the biggest funders of the democrats so uh... who's sponsoring this bill well not only lamar smith was a deeper servidor republican with john pirates who was supposed to be a big liberal a democrat from michigan perfect so they're both on board and so are a great number of congressmen from both sides now you're seeing on that list pharmaceutical companies you thinking when you know what the hell was that have you with any right will talk about a online stuff without about copyrights wise pharmaceutical visible because they don't like it there's some websites are selling things that they don't have a monopoly of because you know in the u_s_ they barbara politicians so they get a twelve-year monopoly patent and then the government cannot negotiate prices and we cannot import rice from outside the country but some websites delighted it draws from other places but no gotta shut down if there's any competition you don't compete that's capitalism no what you do is you by politicians to make sure that you shut down your competition that's quite worrisome and that's what we have in this country so the former civil companies which are among the top three donors in washington and that give tremendously for the republican and democrats are telling all their bought politicians hey you get on board that will help largely but it was just cause and a couple of progressive senators would be in massive trouble but luckily there are other giant companies on our side project so google face book the day twitter you name it those giant accompanies arson at all hell no uranium all the power to our competitors whether it's the broadband providers are with the hollywood studios and you're gonna rob the internet ovitz freedom which then destroy the whole point of google and destroys their business model now so they're their worked out waging a fight against that by the way also not only are liberals against this bill almost every major liberal group but almost every major grassroots conservative group including the deportees are also against it because they don't want their website shut down a bit but again it was just as liberals and conservatives just us american people fighting we'd be in it massive trouble comes as congress is shown over and over again they don't give up damn about the american people they care about who they truly represent which is their donors luckily there's some big corporations on our site how does fly comes out is entirely on clear right now uh... the people in favor of shutting down the internet basically for this bill havoc usually may have all lot of bipartisan support joined that flight and make sure this bill passes no conditions
