Initiative of the European Parliament fails to resolve the political ngërcit in.
As was announced last week at TCH, Joseph Daul and Martin Schultz has published a joint press communique,
which report that the time limit ended with the intervention of international negotiations.
"We're sincerely sorry that the Albanian government and opposition failed to overcome the differences between them,
thus not being able to take further steps necessary to achieve the country's European ambitions," says the joint statement.
Two leaders of major factions of the European Parliament said that integration of the country is already in the hands
of the government and opposition, which must meet the Copenhagen criteria.
"We continue to support Albania's path towards the European Union under the Copenhagen criteria,
and criteria as set out in European Council conclusions of December 2006, on the renewed consensus on enlargement.
In this context, we hope that the Albanian political leadership understands that overcome the current political controversies
is key to the country's progress in European integration and to promote the European aspirations of Albanian citizens, "says the communique.
The European and conclusions included the EU Council in a joint statement.
"We emphasize, along with the Council, it is the responsibility of the government, together with the opposition to find properly,
transparently and in full respect of the Albanian Constitution, ngërcit solutions to current and advanced means
which will to country needs on the road to EU ", said Daul and Schultz.
At the conclusion of the joint letter, Daul and Schultz was the last pose demands in Tirana respective parties.
"We urge the Albanian opposition in the Parliament's stand to continue its work.
At the same time, we expect the government to work together with the opposition to the goal of a reform of the electoral system
and parliamentary procedures," said the communique further .
Although milder than our letter of 19 May and no open threats, the EU abandons thus leaving Albania relief efforts in her fate.
