Sporty Hairstyles Part 3 - The fanned out braid
The last sporty hairstyle I want to show you is called a fanned out french braid. It always
looks feminine and stays perfectly in place. What you need is an extreme side parting.
You can pull up your back-hair into a bun and start braiding. Simply put together a
classic french braid, for which you take three strands and braid them. For the next step,
you take a couple of strands (one by one) from the back of your head and add them to
your braided part until you reach the ear. If you can't go any further, finish the braid.
It should more or less look like this. You then do the exact same on the other side.
It will be way shorter on this one than on the first. You start with the classic braiding
and, as before, add strands from the back. When you can't take in any more strands, you
finish the braid. Looks like Pippi Longstocking, but we are not finished yet.To create more
volume at the back of your head, you need to simply backcomb your hair. Part the back
into two parts, take the upper one and backcomb again. It doesn't need to be a lot of hair, just a small bit will be enough
to create more volume. Afterwards you fix up a ponytail and pull it slightly apart.
Then you tighten the bun. Take strands of hair and twist them around your ponytail.
Fix them with bobby pins, and again: the firmer your headband, the better the support. Now
you take one of the braided parts and twist it around the bun. Simply fix it with more
bobby pins. You then do the same with the other Pippi Longstocking-braid. Twist it around
the bun and fix it with pins. You are now good to go for your next workout and the date
right afterwards. Not only will you be winning over your coach but your sweetheart will be
super impresses. Ready for your workout and the next date!
