The lack of knowledge about autism, is alarming.
In the world, 1 out of 150 children have autism.
This amount increases 17% each year.
And it manifests in the first 3 years of life.
It affects social relationships.
Conduct.
People's sensory integration
and communication.
You might not understand the reactions and behaviors
of someone with autism.
It's simply a different way of processing information.
Of processing stimuli.
Emotions
Autism is a human condition.
People with autism don’t live in “their world”,
they live in ours.
They are not “disconnected”,
they are just concentrated on their own ideas.
Autism is not a disease,
it’s a different way of looking at life.
It’s a way of being
and feeling.
Don’t call them autistic.
Having autism does NOT define them.
Don’t underestimate them.
They are people with talents and challenges,
like you
and me.
Don’t stigmatize,
they understand more than they speak.
They realize more than you think.
They can become independent adults.
They can form families.
They can be a gift of life.
They are exemplary people.
You can be part of the change.
You can help to change reality.
We need tolerant people.
We need people with heart.
Through sensitization
we will become more inclusive.
You are an important part.
An early intervention is vital.
Inform yourself!
Learn!
Get involved!
Let's change the way we see things...
so we can change the way they are.
Let's speak up
for those who can't do it themselves.
We need you!
This april, lets support autism.
