Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick weren’t afraid to to tackle a classic on Wednesday night.
The pair performed an emotional cover of Cyndi Lauper’*** song “True Colors” at the Cannes Film Festival — and they nailed it.
"We are Anna and Garfunkel,” Timberlake joked as they took the stage.
“OK, we are going to give this a go, but you guys have to be nice,” he added.

Timberlake and Kendrick are co-stars in the upcoming film “Trolls,” which centers on little creatures embarking on a journey to discover bits of the world they’ve never seen before. The film also stars Gwen Stefani, James Corden, Russell Brand, Jeffrey Tambor and Christine Barankski.
Their version of “True Colors” is featured in the movie’s soundtrack — all produced by Timberlake.

Stefani and Ariana Grande will also appear on some of the film’s songs.
The former *NSYNC member shared his first new song in three years on May 6 called “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
“Trolls” hits theaters on Nov. 4, but the soundtrack will be available come September.
