>>Erik: How did your grandfather`s accepting attitude influence your own open minded approach?
>> Jason: When I was very, very young I realized that my grandfather was a talker and he talked
to everybody. But not only did he talk to everybody, but he really accepted who people
were. Because he spoke seven languages he was able to talk and communicate with a lot
of people. And me being a young, impressionable kid four, five years old, I got to see all
this and it definitely rubbed off on me. And it was something that more times than not,
I saw my grandfather getting smiles. And everybody always loved my grandfather and I didn`t so
much adopt that behavior because I wanted everybody to love me but it was because of
the smiles. I could see that he was doing good for people and making people happy. And
he was happy as that was happening so I thought, ``Well, that`s probably pretty cool, maybe
you should kind of be like that.``
