Hey, welcome everybody. I'm Lars Erik Robinson. I'm a freelance illustrator. My company is
Lars Arts All Around Artainment. Today I thought we'd talk about how to do your own logo for
your sports team. And I just picked and example of where we're at. We have Saint Pete Snakes.
So, you start out with this and you try to incorporate maybe this snake as part of the
s and that's what I did right here and I try to do it like an s form. Sports teams always
try to incorporate some kind of animal of some sort for some reason. Here we have the
snake going back here and then maybe we have the end of the tail come out because we want
this part to look like an s. And this could have been, usually this already going to be
done in the computer but if you've hand drawn it, it's fine too because there's all different
kind of logos that you could pick on. Either Illustrator or the program you want to make
your logo in. And usually Illustrator is a good one to create your logo in. So I think
that's a neat concept and then we have Saint Pete going up here. Maybe you want to try
and have the s here again to be in a similar shape as that one and have it going over like
that, Saint Pete. You have a lot of swooshing. Sports logos usually have a lot of catchy
little swings to them. And there has to be kind of a circle area maybe you want to have
it looking mean because they're tough and they're good. Now you don't want to over render
it because you want to keep it simple and you want to keep it direct, straight to the
point. Now if you can imaging that with colors, and all those kind of things so you can get
an idea of how to do your own sports logo for maybe your own soccer team for your kids
soccer team. Well I hope you guys enjoyed that. Thank you and keep on drawing. Just
keep coming with those ideas for logos and remember think about how we want to incorporate
and what their relationship is to you. So maybe this can even be a soccer ball, because
that's what we just mentioned. There you go, huh? Thank you guys. Enjoy.
