So I woke up this morning
check my emails do what I usually do
And uh, first thing I see
First important thing I see
Got a letter, or got an email
From Obama, because I follow his newsletter thing, mostly for propoganda
but its useful sometimes. Like now.
Woke up, and I was reading it
And it started giving me a time, when something happened
I was like "Please tell me he didn't do it, please tell me he did
not strike against Syria" But
I was pleasantly surprised because
the letter detailed that through
John Kerry's mistake of saying
Hey, you know they get there chemical weapons in one week will stop completely
well Russia held onto that and said "Hey
that's a good idea. Good idea America."
And Syria was like "Hey
Russia thinks its good, We think its good, we should do it."
So know, the entire vote is canceled, for now
for the strikes against Syria
I just find it amazing. I mean, it's something smart
Um I think it would have been smarter to wait for
the UN's decision on what happened. But um
I think it was smart Obama's part to cancel the vote
We really don't want to get into other conflict
I dont want to get into another conflict, I dont know how everyone else feels.
I do think that diplomatic
should be the way to go, as long as
things keep up the way they do and ifSyria actually
signs the ban on
chemical weapons it be nice it would be
really really nice. there's no guarantee
theyll do that though. If they dont,
we might just for back to military action possibly with international support
but I find unlikely 'cause the international community
really doesn't want to get into another war in the Middle East either. So yeah
that's why I think about it. Its nice good that they're
that they're trying to find a diplomatic solution, and Im hoping it works out.
but if it doesn't it'll be interesting to see
what Obama does.
