Obama Rips 'in God We Trust' Vote

i think first we ought to talk about what our government has been doing for us lately or not doing for us lately and uh... specifically what the house of representatives has been talking about uh... you would think that it's about finding jobs for the millions of unemployed americans you would think that they're trying to uh... my i don't know come up with a solution for the middle east uh... or somehow trying to figure out how we get our troops out safely rattled there are many many issues on the menu to be selected and debated uh... none of those are or were as important as this one and that is to reaffirm to this country that d'amato of the united states is in god we trust thank god that that we have elected officials in washington d_c_ on for instance in state of california we sent like forty nine of them to washington to do this kind of work reaffirmed things uh... and and in this case that the motto he isn't equal remiss modem this in god we trust we like this kind of thing because who else is going to reaffirm things if if congress is reaffirming things forget jobs from joblessness per second we need someone in there who is going to reaffirm and um... what's crazy about it is idon't know if you guys you know if you're if you're hip to the reaffirmation process by congress is reaffirming in god we trust his remarks either steve jobs came up with this typhoon i don't know that it has a reminder list on it and he can remind you of things to get that's like our motto in case you forgot but omg apparently disc dot the goat of the president and he wasn't too happy supplemented in congress needed to weigh in on that too well obama clearly not happy about it congress doesn't they don't have time they've got time to do it at which we believe that in the house people back to work i trust in god but god wants to see us help ourselves by putting people back to work officials o let's let's go back and look at the genesis of this because um... in and i know this story's gonna being talked about in the echo chamber a lot uh... today but uh... this really was uh... the pet project of representative tom price a republican from georgia is the fifth ranking republican in the house and he didn't just sort of uh... submit this to congress to say like were we are in danger of of forgetting he actually specifically put this on to you before the house to remind the president himself wasn't hurt to his explanation for this was a priority because the president's out that stated incorrectly that the model of the country was a partner setup in fact a lot of the country as you well know it was just i was in god we trust that way probably reminded about the that the notion that we can do those kinds of things which is to remind the president again at
