Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you my tips and techniques
that I use to bridle my horse with a western bridle. So now we are going to place the bit
in the horses mouth. So once the bit is in the horses mouth we are going to pull her
crown piece up over her ears. We are going to stick her ears in the ear piece. If you
notice this is a lot different from a English bridle cause it does not have the brow band
going across the forehead. So in doing that you want to make sure that the horse forelock
or mane is not tangled anywhere where they could be pulling on them or be uncomfortable.
So once you do that, stick the ear through the ear piece. You can kind of adjust that
if you need to. Then have the bridle properly placed on the horses head. So that is how
you want to pull the bridle up over the ears.
