My name is Paul Hiniker, I grew up in Carlsbad, California I've been doing Personal Training
since 1986. I specialize in balance of the muscle skeletal system, postural deviation
and sports specific strength and conditioning. started off skateboarding when I was five
years old. I started competing by 1976. I won my first skateboard contest from there,
I transitioned into surfing and snowboarding which I competed in both very actively. I
decided to purse a career in the fitness industry and continue on. I think being involved in
board sports my whole life such as skateboarding and surfing I have a little bit of an advantage
to know what applies as far as application of exercises. What's gonna benefit a surfer
you have to be very very very balanced, the muscle skeletal system has to be in perfect
alignment. A lot of us work five days a week where we are at a computer or at an office.
You don't have a lot of time to go to the gym and obviously your spare time you want
to get out you wanna surf, so what we've done is we've designed a routine that you can do
at lunch time in your office going through the progression of exercises, definitely gonna
take you through a very strict training regimen speaking from experience and living the lifestyle
I can honestly attest that the exercises Taylor and I and the other surfers have worked on
will definitely increase your strength, flexibility and performance.
