And now, to discuss the Tai Hauauru electorate,
as well as Labour and National, we welcome back Willie Jackson.
Who did you think came across the best - Shane or Hekia?
Shane is fortunate, because he is very fluent in our language.
He's a lucky man.
He is a lot more fluent than Hekia,
but Hekia really knows her policies to her strength.
So in the end, I believe they were much the same.
I should acknowledge my relation.
Her level of fluency is good. Almost like myself.
I hope there's no bias.
- With regards to the Te Tai Hauauru seat,
is there any doubt in your heart that Tariana could lose her seat?
Tariana is the leader of the Maori Party.
She is a strong Maori woman.
The Te Tai Hauauru differs a lot from the others,
because Tariana is miles ahead. That's the difference at this time.
She is doing a good job there.
I think the others need to change their strategies
because it is pointless competing against Tariana for the seat.
The candidates there should find hope in their party list.
- Who won the debate – Goff or Key?
Goff has been lacking recently, but he did very well in the debate.
I think that debate was a tie.
- Sitting on the fence! First, with Hekia and Shane.
That's right, sometimes.
I take my hat off to Goff,
because he has really come out in recent months.
- And they have risen in the polls. Willie Jackson, thank you.
