In this video 3 Things You Can Make From Glass Bottles Let's start with something simple I scored a line with a bottle Cutter Then I used hot and cold water to split the bottle in half The bottom piece could be used as a vase but that's not what I need I made a vase in another video This time, I made a candle holder You'll need a wine bottle like this one Let's cut out the ring I used a glass cutter to score the line I heated up the top with a blowtorch and cooled it down in a cold water I repeated the procedure until most of the glass felt off Then I scored another line and did the same thing Blowtorch and cold water To sand the glass, I used silicon carbide You can get it on eBay I also used a sandpaper to sand the edges That's it! Our glass ring is ready! I scored a line And used hot and cold water to split the bottle in half I drilled a big hole in one piece and a smaller hole in other piece Let's sand it a little bit! I glued a plastic light bulb socket inside of the bottle For glueing both pieces together I used epoxy glue our wall lamp is ready
