Sat Sri Akal
I am fine here and hope you well over there.
I wish we would have celebrated rakhsha bandhan together,
but you are busy frying nuggets at McDonalds.
Here is my rakhi to you, remember to send me a gift.
Your sister Guddu, the one from Attari Bazaar.
Who is it?
Who are you?
We are theives.
Who?
Theives
Mom is not here.
Dad is not here.
Brother....
Coming...
His brother already *** his pants.
Any last wishes?
I want to talk with my elder brother.
Hey little man give her the phone.
Celebrated raksha bandhan, when brother was in London.
Now what will the brother do, when sister is in trouble?
Speak, speak, speak up.
Don't change the subject you evil person.
How can you the bond between a brother and sister.
LOVE!!! LOVE!!! Did you hear that, did you hear it people?
Only one day to celebrate _____ in a year?
And what you do on other 364 days? play Ludo?
Raksha bandhan symbolizes that we should protect our sisters.
Well done son protect your own sisters only.
Forget about other people's sisters.
Isn't there any elderly man at your home who can give you some sense?
No sir no, my grandfather helps everybody's sister.
Oh my brother, stay obligated to our relation
"Oh my brother, never forget your little sister"
"Oh my brother, stay obligated to our relation"
"Oh my brother, never forget your little sister"
But Guru Nanak Dev Ji was also used to celebrate raksha bandhan
Are you talking about this? - Yes.
This painting has been fooling sikh community for years now.
And you know what? Raksha bandhan only started after Bebe Nanaki Ji's death.
That is 1538.
So the picture circulating Bebe Nanki Ji tying rakhi is totally fake and false.
Secondly, Guru Nanak Dev Ji denounced the Janeou (Sacred Thread).
So it would be against his teachings to tie any kind of thread.
And especially, if it is representing protection.
What is a sacred thread, according to Guru Nanak Dev Ji?
Ang 471
"Daya Kapah Santokh Soot, Jat Gandhi Sat Vatt"
"Eh Janeu Jee Ka Hayi, Taan Pande Ghat"
"Make compassion the cotton,"
"contentment the thread,"
"modesty the knot,"
"and truth the twist."
"This is the sacred thread of the soul."
A brother should always protect his sister everyday.
There should not be a ceremony comforming the commitment or relation.
Hindu religion has its own reasoning for celebrating Rakhi festival,
and it's not a Sikh ritual.
Now many of you will say, what is the harm in celebrating rakhri?
There is no harm in celebrating,
but Sikh Gurus removed us from such practices and meaningless rituals.
But many of us are bringing them back into our life. Why?
Sikh religion sees all as equals,
and believes in truthful living.
And for protection, Guru Ji is our saviour.
My True Guru is my Saviour and Protector.
And he has given us sword to protect ourselves.
And the thing on our wrists,
Should only be a iron kara (bangle).
On on hand, girls are asking for equality,
but on the other hand, they are tying rakhri to seek protection.
It clearly means that we girls depend on our brothers for protection.
Why should a women have to be your sister to seek your protection?
When so many face eve-teasing,
molestration,
abuse,
discrimination,
and mental and physical torture.
Is it against other men, that you are protecting your sister and
you are the one, who is creating troubles for other sisters?
Why be silent?
Why suffer ?
And why get victimised?
The way you dress, and what you dress, does not make you modern.
It is your mindset and approach
that decides your outlook.
Is it difficult to look respectful and dignified?
If you think it's a "man's world",
and men can do anything and get everything,
think again.
Times are difficult for everybody.
Being a man, does not get excused.
So, why don't you contribute in your own way
to make this world better.
Guru Sahib gave us all an equal chance. But you still...
Now where are you going? Again raksha-bandhan?
No, to save the world.
Thank GOD, somebody woke up, thank GOD.
Come on sister Guddu, we are waiting.
Elder sister is coming.
"Relationships evolve."
"They take different shapes over time."
"One generation comes and one goes."
Stop ! Stop !! Stop !!!
