Hi! This is Diana for expertvillage.com. We have most of our basket done now, but I’m
also going to add some baby’s breath. That’s the small white flower; it kind of looks like
snow or popcorn. You can’t find it everywhere and it does make your arrangement look more
country and casual and kind of fluffy. You can decide if you like the arrangement to
look more clean and gardeny or if you want to add your baby’s breath, it’s also called
gypsophila. I’m going to take a stem like this, cut the edge off with my knife, and
just tuck it in making sure that the stem goes way down into the oasis. One of the other
tricks with the baby’s breath is to set it down low among your flowers. Don’t have
it sticking out at the top. Press it down so that it’s kind of a background for your
flowers and to kind of fill in the center. We’ll just keep filling it up baby’s breath
until it looks how we want it to.
