So I thought it might be fun to show you one of the images that I've created using the
Blob Brush.
I've opted to show you my Layers panel when I'm not being organized along the way.
So I usually do name layers so they're meaningful along the way, I didn't in this case.
So you can go ahead and name them for me if you want.
This is a Blob Brush illustration that I created.
It was a photograph--which I left for you-- which I liked a lot but it wasn't a great
photograph, so it didn't quite capture what I wanted out of it.
So I was able to bring out the part of it that I liked the best, which is what of course
art always let's you do is pick and choose what you want to concentrate on.
So I created this image using the Blob brush and a bunch of different colors.
I was able to merge things as I went.
And because, unlike working with brushes when you can literally pick a part what I did,
you can't do that.
And so what I've done as I've saved the file in stages for you.
You can go ahead and zoom in on them and look at them and see how I built the image.
There is a little bit of how I built it from start to finish.
I've given you the file to play with.
So it just gives you another quality of line, and I wouldn't say its equivalent to a traditional
line.
I would say that it's its own exciting and powerful new medium that you can work with.
So I hope you have fun.
Enjoy picking a part mine and creating your own masterpieces.
