The email generally arrives within 2 to 5 minutes. Step 2 In the email, first copy the Username to the clipboard. The username should be exactly the same same name as the install. Step 3 Next, click on the Reset WP-Admin password link within the email. Step 4 Paste in the Username in the box. Step 5 Click the Get New Password button. Step 6 Look for an email coming from WordPress with the subject Password Reset. Step 7 Open the email and click on the link below the text "To reset your password, visit the following address:".
