Section 5 - Update Site and Home URLs in WordPress | Lesson 1 - Reset WP Admin Password for your WordPress Install (Written Instructions Below) *** please share, like, embed, and comment Step 1 After adding an install on WP Engine, open up the email that is sent to you after WP Engine completes the installation. The email generally arrives within 2 to 5 minutes. Step 2 In the email, first copy the Username to the clipboard. The username should be exactly the same same name as the install. Step 3 Next, click on the Reset WP-Admin password link within the email. Step 4 Paste in the Username in the box. Step 5 Click the Get New Password button. Step 6 Look for an email coming from WordPress with the subject Password Reset. Step 7 Open the email and click on the link below the text "To reset your password, visit the following address:".
