Hi! This is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village,
I'm going to show you how to make French onion soup. This is actually smelling really good.
Later on we're going to have to pull out those thyme stems from the thyme that we used. For
now, just look at how good this is looking. We're going to add 6 cups of our chicken broth.
These are 16 ounce cans, so I'm just going to use 3 cans of chicken broth like so. It's
coming now. I said chicken. I'm sorry. It's beef stock. Beef stock is also made for French
onion soup. If you can't make fresh beef stock, look for one that does say French onion. It'll
help you out and give it a good taste. I'm going to just give this a stir. You realize
you've got that flour in there. We're just going to cook this until it cooks down, evaporates,
and gets more condensed. Cook this until it happens. Come back because it's starting to
really smell and taste amazing. French onion soup here on Expert Village.
