Assisted Ustrasana or camel pose is a really good pose to come into with your partner,
especially if you have a really flexible back. We're going to ask Rissa to come on down to
her knees. Yeah and she's going to get ready to do the camel. So we're going to have her
lift up and she's going to make sure that her hips stay the whole time directly over
her knees. When you do a camel, you're going to lift up and take a little back bend and
you want to make sure that this back bend does not come from the lower part of the spine
where you could crunch your sacral part of the spine together. There should be no pinching
down there. So the lift comes from up here and then back so that her heart opens. Gina
is going to come on down and she's going to set up putting her head right in between Rissa's
calves there. Good. Yeah, there you go. Alright, and so Rissa whenever she's ready she's going
to lift up and then open her chest and come back with her hands in shiva mudra, that would
be the four fingers pressing together. Good. So notice how she keeps her hips right over
her knees and gets a really back opener. That's beautiful. Whenever you're ready Rissa coming
right back up, lifting yourself right back up and Gina is going to come and then we're
just going to have Rissa sit right back and come into a child's pose. This is going to
feel really good on her back after she's doing that. Gina is going to assist her partner
and give her just a little back massage. I know Rissa appreciates that and that's the
assisted camel pose.
