How to open a front light of an Opel GT or Saturn Sky to paint the faceplate.
heat up the front light in the oven 100°C/212°F for 12 minutes.
Video in realtime. app. 1:30 minutes and the light is open.
begin in the top corner and open the 3 snap-fits.
proceed along the upper joint fit of the lights and open the snap-fits.
turn the lights around and proceed at the bottom joint fit and open the snap-fits.
Now it's already opened and the face plate can be taken out of the front glass.
paint or solve the chromium plating. Example: painted black matt.
