Hi guys, today we're going to be working on this yellow and black bumblebee inspired
water marble.
And i'm going to be using a ton of yellow, and just a little bit of black
for this design.
Both of the colors are from China Glaze.
And the yellow is called Happy Go Lucky.
And the black
is called Liquid Leather.
So i'm going to start out, as i mentioned, with a lot of yellow, I think that's about
eight drops.
Then i'm going to add in two drops of black,
and finish off with two more drops of yellow in the middle.
So that we end up with
a thick ring of black, and a lot of yellow.
And i'm going to just start out by going up to the top,
and then down to the bottom.
And then to make the stripes I'm just going to criss-cross
back and forth.
And
the main difference
to get it to turn out looking like stripes, rather than looking
like chevrons
is to kind of
overlap your strokes
rather than just going from one side to the other.
You almost want to go from one side and then a little bit down.
So that you actually get it to look like stripes.
And since this is a design for
multiple nails, I'm just going to
continue on.
Wiping my orange stick after every few strokes,
until Ihave stripes over the whole cup.
And if you see any sections that you're not satisfied with, you can go in
and kind of make a little correction.
I have my nails prepped with Happy Go Lucky.
And
I'm just going to line all three of these up here,
and
dunk into the water.
I'm going to reach in wtih my orange stick and start to clean up that excess polish.
And once I've got the surface as clean as possible
just going to
go ahead and pull my nails out slowly.
And
there's the water marble design.
