Ancar Ivanhoe is a company with a 40 year history. It is a company which offers services and was born to make shopping malls. We value relationships and proximity in all details. My challenge was how to grow without losing the connection among the people who brought this company to where it is today. The IT department understood that we could contribute to this growth, So we chose a platform that could improve the communication and collaboration of our employees. And we made the decision for Google. We were won over by the ease of use of the tools. Today we can organize a meeting with all 23 shopping centers in 10 minutes. This has helped us align and share information; everyone is working together to deliver results for the company. Today a lot of people use Gmail outside their companies. We interview candidates from all over Brazil and we often use Gtalk to hold interviews with our candidates. Google has become a collaboration platform; not an IT platform. We are people who like people. This is the essence of a shopping center, a place which unites people not only for buying but also for leisure.
