Will The Red Sox Win The World Series?

we don't talk about sports too often on this show but we have to talk about sports today Lewis because tonight the Red Sox will be playing game 6 of the World Series there had three games that you if they win tonight's game they will win their Third World Series since nineteen 18 where the the very long drought started I have been thinking a lot about this because I remember back in 2004 I was an undergrad in college and the day before the Red Sox are the day up the game where the Red Sox clinched their first World Series at that point since 1918 a professor of mine professor I respected quite a bit said hey I've been thinking a lot about the Red Sox game tonight I hope they win I'm a fan of the Red Sox I can't help but wonder if been when the Red Sox and the curse from 1918 will something be lost in the winning the World Series will it ever be again it be the same again it in three years the Red Sox get back to the World Series will it be as exciting will it really have the same meaning and we had a conversation about it and case in point in 2007 when the Red Sox my back the World Series and won again it wasn't the same wish there was something that was lost in terms of Red Sox community when the curse the suppose that curse with ended and I'm still be hugely excited about tonight's game I'll be going to a Red Sox bar here in New York to watch the game and and I'm excited about it but I can't disagree that my professor was definitely on to something back in 2004 it's interesting yeah I mean I guess there is kinda this diminishing returns rate arm I mean I wonder where Yankees fans would say if you ask them about winning World Series certainly day I they might have some interesting insight as to you that possible law of diminishing returns will and you can always keep moving the goal post right the Red Sox haven't won two in a row the Red Sox haven't yet clinched one at Fenway Park in Boston which if that happens tonight it still would be the first one since 1918 so I i've been talking to different Sox fans about it and and if you're a fan of other teams that have never won a championship maybe or are in the middle of a drought there is something there that in the disappointment comes I don't know if it's like a hunger or something that you lose when you win I but a hopefully we win tonight because they still would like to see a want to see another World Series
