Hi guys! Petrina Hamm here, your go to girl for learning how to make fit work in a crazy
busy world and today I'm going to give you the 411 on Beachbody's new program the 3 day
Refresh. It's a straight forward 3 day program that will help you eat clean & feel leaner
in just 3 short days. If you're someone who wants to lose a few pounds fast and don't
want to starve yourself, 3 day Refresh could be for you. If you're getting ready for a
big event that's coming up very soon that you want to look your best 3 Day Refresh could
be for you. If you want to kick start clean eating habits and have no idea how to start,
3 day Refresh could be for you. If you've fallen off the wagon when it comes to your
diet and your nutrition, 3 day Refresh could be for you. If, let's say you just got back
from Vegas and had a weekend of binge eating and drinking & you want to really get back
on track in a big way, 3 Day Refresh could be for you. The most important thing you're
going to be getting is the guide and it's very skinny, look at that, not too much to
it but it will tell you exactly what to eat and when to eat it. You have a list of choices
you can chose from when it comes to what fruits you're allowed, what vegetables you're allowed
and also the healthy fats that you're allowed. That's pretty much what you'll be eating.
You are not supposed to have any meat or dairy with this and if you're a coffee drinker you
should nix that although it allows you if you absolutely have to have it that you can
have a black coffee. Green tea is how I'm going to be getting my caffeine fix on this
program. I just started today, I'm in the middle of the day now and it hasn't been that
bad so far, knock on wood and you know, hey it's only 3 days. So you're not only going
to be eating the fruits, vegetables and healthy fats, you're also starting your day off with
a Shakeology. There is an order option where if you're someone who already is on Shakeology
and you get it on home direct and you already have a supply on hand, you can a buy a kit
that doesn't have the shakeology. But if you don't have shakeology, get the kit that comes
with Shakeology because it is going to be your breakfast each day for the 3 days.
They recommend that you go vegan for the Shakeology. You can have whey version if you want to but
vegan is definitely easier for your body to digest which is going to come in handy since
you are going to be consuming quite a bit of fiber over the 3 days. So you'll get 3
packets of Shakeology in your kit and you'll get six of these Vanilla Refresh shakes which
you would have with your lunch and with your dinner along with potentially either fruits,
vegetables or healthy fats. Everything is all broken down for you and super simple.
You also get 3 Fiber Sweeps, don't be afraid, these actually... I have seen people complain
about the taste and everything but I really like the Fiber Sweeps. To me it's like a really
thick lemony tea, not too bad at all. You'll have a Fiber Sweep each day in the middle
of the day right between your breakfast and your lunch. So that's what you get in your
3 day Refresh package. What you need is pretty much very strong will power and to take a
quick shopping trip. You can make a list and they make it easy for you to go through the
different permitted items and you could write them in, there's a spot each day where you
can fill in exactly what you've chosen to be that serving of fruit, that serving of
vegetable or that healthy fat, you can go though and see what you've filled in and then
make a shopping list according to that. It makes it very simple. I got my shopping done
yesterday and I'm going to be reacquainting myself with my old flame of kale so I'll tell
you how that goes. I'll do a review each day and a cap off review. I'm hoping to lose 5
pounds over the 3 days but we shall see. I'll keep you all posted on that. There are several
options for you to eat at dinner; that is when you will be having a meal paired along
with a Vanilla Refresh shake for dinner and one serving from the dinner recipes list which
includes coconut steamed veggies, roasted asparagus and almonds, spinach salad, veggie
stir fry, lemony green beans, carrots- seaweed medley, kale with pine nuts, cucumber and
tomato salad or Moroccan carrot salad, so they're are options there which is good because
if it was something where I would have had to eat that carrot & seaweed medley I would
have said "no thanks!" You'll be drinking a lot of filtered water, so when you go grocery
shopping you need to get a good supply of that. You will aim to drink a gallon of water
each day during the 3 days to help flush out your system. This program was designed by
Isabelle Daikeler who co-created Shakeology and it was designed because a lot of coaches
were marketing a Shakeology 3 day cleanse and I myself actually had the instructions
of how to do that up on my website until I found that was not something that Isabelle
herself endorsed, so I took that off. This is a much healthier option, there is more
food involved, you're not going to wind up starving. It is a lower calorie diet and it
would probably be about 900 calories each day, so it's not something designed for the
long term, this is a very short term cleanse option. In case you're curious about pricing,
if you get the kit without the Shakeology it's $59.95. If you get the kit WITH shakeology
which you should do if you're not already on Shakeology it's $69.95. Personally I think
if you're going to go do the 3 Day Refresh you may as well get the challenge pack which
comes with a month worth of Shakeology that is on sale this month. Since it has come out
for $140! It will go up in August to $160. Typically Shakeology a month supply costs
$130, so it's like you're paying $10 extra to get the program itself, so you're saving
money getting the challenge pack and you're going to be getting a month supply of something
that you can eat to eat healthier for an entire month rather than just 3 days. That's just
