Hi I'm Josh Ellsworth with Stahls' CADCUT direct and you're watching our product demonstration of Thermo-FILM. Thermo-FILM is one of our best sellers...one of the most popular products that we have. And that's because it's very easy to use and its durable and you can trust it for athletic uniforms. You can use this on polyester mesh, polyester Dazzle, or loose fit polyester like we'll demonstrate here. In addition to the athletic constructions you can also us it on cotton garments. Making it even more versatile then just for athletics. Watch as we cut it, weed it and heat apply it to show you exactly how easy Thermo-FILM is to use. When cutting Thermo-FILM be sure to set your blade depth and cutting downforce accordingly. To give you a gauge on a scale of 0 to 250 grams of downforce on the Roland GX-24, we typically find a range of 120 to 160 to be the right setting. This will definetly vary based on blade sharpness and extension. As you'll see shortly, when cutting, it's very easy to see the cut lines on this product. This will also make it very easy to weed. A huge part of Thermo-FILM's ease of use is the ease of weeding. If I was to rank this material out of 5 stars, I'd rank it 4 1/2. Watch how easy this is to peel. Even on big name and number combinations, it's very easy to release. Thermo-FILM does have the pressure sensitive carrier so if you accidentally peel up a letter, you can just simply position it back down and you're not gonna lose your job. And this is ready to heat apply. Along with the ease of weeding, Thermo-FILM is also extremely easy to heat apply. It's probably the most forgiving product out there in the market place. So I'll load my garment on. Gonna preheat for a few seconds just to remove the moisture and wrinkles from the garment. Then I'll take my weeded Thermo-FILM design, position it down, this is a pressure sensitive so it's gonna stick to the garment which is nice so it's not gonna move as I'm locking my press down. It only takes 6 seconds to apply, it applies at 330 degrees, a pressure on the Hotronix press of 4 and watch only 6 seconds. Huge sselling point you can hot peel Thermo-FILM immediately. No wait time at all. So this is our finished result using Thermo-FILM. A nice clean white, even on a red polyester with a tendency to migrate. Which is another major selling point, because it will block dye migration. This is a semi-gloss finish, as all the colors in Thermo-FILM are, and it's also semi-soft which feels comfortable on the wearer. This product is gauranteed to last, it's lab certified for the following. If you're looking to decorate team uniforms there's not a better product on the market.
