If you find that Smart Hub on your Samsung Blu-ray player needs to return to its factory default settings
you'll need to perform a Smart Hub Reset.
Please note: All downloaded apps will be initialized and all user accounts and settings will be erased.
However, your Smart Hub account will still remain on the server
so you will not need to create a new account.
Follow along with these steps to learn how to perform a Smart Hub Reset with your Blu-ray player.
On your Blu-ray's home screen menu, scroll to Smart Hub and press Enter.
The player will connect to the Smart Hub server, and display the main Smart Hub menu.
This may take about a minute. Press the Tools button on your Blu-ray remote control.
Note: If you are prompted to install a new Smart Hub update, press OK to install.
Do not make any changes until the update has installed.
Now scroll to Settings and select it by pressing Enter.
Then select the Reset option.
Enter in your 4-digit parental rating password.
If you haven't set a password, enter the default password "0000".
A message will display informing you that the settings are "Resetting back to Default".
When prompted that the reset is complete, select OK.
Smart Hub will restart and when it returns
you will see the Samsung Service Terms and Privacy Policy Terms displayed individually.
Read and agree to each prompt by highlighting Agree for each and pressing Enter.
If you find you are missing any desired apps after the reset, simply go to Samsung Apps and reinstall them.
