Pretty Little Liars has a season finale and your children will officially never stop watching
Frozen: This is EW's Must List for Tuesday, March 18.
Season finales of Pretty Little Liars are always crazy — which is saying something,
since at this point Pretty Little Liars makes Twin Peaks look like Matlock. But the climax
of season 4 promises to answer some burning questions, like who buried Alison's body.
And someone will die, maybe? I can't keep up with teens today.
Even by the barely-translated low standards of videogame narrative, the Metal Gear Solid
franchise has always stuck out for its insane storytelling, which kind of suggests Tom Clancy
rewriting He-Man as a Cold War allegory. And I mean that as a compliment! Out now for the
major consoles, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes sends one-eyed protagonist Snake on
a mission to Cuba which involves facing a scarred villain named Skull Face. I don't
remember learning about that in history class. Clearly, my history teacher was a socialist.
Since the release of Iron Man in 2008, Marvel Studios has been establishing whole new measures
for feature-film success: Its Avengers series now has four franchises and counting. How
did it happen? To find out, watch Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe, on ABC. The special
discusses how the studio managed to cultivate a linked universe across several films, and
also includes a sneak peek at the next Captain America and Avengers sequels. Personally,
I'm more excited for Guardians of the Galaxy, which is something you'll be hearing a lot
from all your pretentious nerd friends this summer.
Do I need to tell you about Frozen, the Disney movie about being a princess and letting go
or whatever? You've seen Frozen. Your parents saw Frozen. Your niece saw Frozen and now
she won't stop singing Frozen. The megahit cartoon starring Kristen Bell and Adela Nazeem
arrives on DVD/Blu-Ray today. Decades from now, your children will find that DVD/Blu-Ray
in storage and smile, overcome by happy memories from their youth. So consider purchasing it,
is what I'm saying.
That's all for today. Come back tomorrow for Must List Details on the new episode of 'Law
& Order: SVU,' featuring beloved non-controversial celebrity Alec Baldwin.
