Clouds build in a bright sky.
The NavAir logo illuminates in the clouds.
The text reads: "NavAir Civilian"
The text and clouds slowly grow then quickly fade to a dark screen
Fade up quickly to a white male in his twenties
wearing a purple button-up shirt,
standing in front of a bright background
My name is Bryan Nobles.
I am a mechanical engineer.
I've been working there for a little over a year and a half.
Being an engineer, as soon as you tell somebody you get
to work on aircraft, that's pretty much enough said.
That's pretty cool to me.
One of my favorite things at my job, is that we actually get
to have our hands dirty.
We can go out to the shops and take things apart;
put things together And that's probably one
of my favorite things to do there.
Is actually being able to leave my desk
and actually have my finger on the pulse of what
that actual problem is with this part.
My transition into NAVAIR was actually pretty smooth,
with me being in a wheelchair and all.
In just setting up my work area, making sure that I can get
to certain parts on base.
They acclimated to anything that I might need.
They asked me any questions and were always open
to hear any suggestions that I had to make.
I definitely feel that my work matters there at NAVAIR.
Because once I get my name on this drawing and send it out,
it's touched by more than just one person.
It doesn't just get filed away.
Somebody is taking this
and they're actually making it a physical thing.
You get to see, actually, physically,
what you've worked on flying in the air.
I'm at lunch, I look up, I see jets
and helicopters flying and I love that.
NAVAIR's ultimate goal is supporting the fleet,
and just knowing that we're part of that equation
to them getting their mission's done and getting back safely,
is, it's a good feeling.
Cut to a logo reading "NavAir Civilian"
The logo floats in a cloudy night sky, as stars twinkle through the clouds
The logo and clouds slowly grow smaller
and then fade out to a dark screen.
