The song "Moon give me strength"
was one of the first songs i wrote for this album
It was written in 2015
and the inspiration came from the poem "Ismália"
by Alphonsus de Guimaraes, a nineteenth century writer from Brazil
The poem tells a story of a girl that lives in a tower
and she falls in love with the moon
she stares at the moon in the sky, admiring
she realizes that she couldn't fly
to find her love, which is the moon
later she can see the moon reflected in the sea
so, in her craving to meet the moon
she decides to jump down from the top of the tower
to find that reflection
The poem has many interpretations
but the one i choose to compose this song
was "give your life for your dreams"
If you do believe in your dreams
and you think you're capable to give your life to it
and fight with all your strength
this is the song's proposal
But if you have any other interpretation
leave your opinion down below in the comments
So we can see your opinion about it
Although it's an acoustic song
(and soon we will be recording the electric version)
i think is the most emotional song
the one that touches deep the souls
of who is listening to it
