It has taken more than one-third of the town
In Lokoja, for two weeks now, part of the town don't have electricity anymore, some parts people are cut off entirely
There is water overflowing in 3 different parts of Lokoja so the town is cut into 3
Most people are now living with relations, in churches, others have gone back to their villages - then there are relief camps from government
... for temporary shelter for those who don't have anything
Some parts of Lokoja have no electricity - in my place right now, I don't have electricity - maybe a few hours a day
So the effects of the flooding - no electricity, the water pipe has been shutdown entirely - we don't have water.
The government has told us November - so we're expecting the flood to be worse than what we are seeing now - it's rising everyday
We are coping with it - we don't have any other option
