Alright Fitlifer, I've been getting a lot of requests, people often write in, they're
like 'Drew what's your favorite love song?' So I just wanted to take a couple of minutes,
well not a couple of minutes, maybe a few seconds and sing my song to you... (Singing)...
So, that's the song, leave a comment below, let me know what your favorite love song is.
So Fitlifer, I always like to start these videos off with an inspirational quote, and
this is the one that I chose today 'Love is a word that comes and goes but few people
really know what it means to really love somebody' -- Kirk Franklin. I actually think that's
the song too, right? Alright, it's another Mindset Monday; remember we're in this together.
If you're ever in the San Diego area Fitlifer, I want to invite you to work out or have a
green drink with our wonderful Fitlife team here, they truly are some of the most passionate,
caring, wonderful people, and you'll absolutely have a blast with us, so c'mon out, if you're
ever in downtown San Diego. Alright, so I've been on Google looking for some of the most
popular searches worldwide, what do you think most people are searching for? Can you take
any guesses? What is it Fitlifer? You guessed it. People are searching for how to love,
sounds crazy right? So in the US, that's one of the most popular searches, that's how do
I love? Certainly, I don't have it all figured out, but in this week's Mindset Monday, I
want to respond to this top search. I recently read the book called Five Languages and I
want to share with you just three tools in the book. Number one is words of affirmation,
number two is physical touch and number three is quality time. Number one, words of affirmation,
giving people words of affirmation means that you send love through using words. When we
take the time to genuinely compliment people, it makes them feel loved. What are you saying
to the people you love? I'm grateful for you, I'm so proud of you, I'm honored to be a part
of your life experience. Another way we can show love is to write a card to someone, a
hand written card is so rare these days. If you love getting hand written cards, please
give this video a big thumbs up, also feel free to write me a note, who knows, you might
just get one back. Number two, physical touch. I love giving hugs, c'mon bring it in Fitlifer,
here we go, love virtual hug for you, another way we can show love to those around us is
physical touch, physical touch is critical for our survival. Human beings are made to
be embraced; infants are touched gently on a regular basis and the ones that are gain
weight and grow at better rates than the babies who don't have any contact. So it may be inappropriate
going around the office giving everybody hugs, I recommend a quick high five, or maybe a
fist bump, or how about a rocket ship, you're always good doing a hand on. Another way to
express love is to spend time with somebody; I'm talking about quality time. You know look
in somebody in the eyes at the coffee shop, putting your cell phone down and actually
having a conversation with them, sounds kind of creepy right? We're so hung up in our Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram that sometimes we forget that somebody sits right in front of us. So
I encourage you Fitlifer, to start paying attention to the people you're listening to,
it's a good love language, actually it's one of my favorites. So to recap number one, words
of affirmation, number two, physical touch, and number three quality time. Alright Fitlifer,
if you love this video as much as we love making it, give it a big 'ol thumbs up, feel
free to leave a video response. Let me know what you love that somebody else has done
for you, that's the question, what do you love? So if you want an even easier access
to this delicious content, feel free to download our complimentary Fitlife app, it's got all
these videos, and everything else you need to be successful. So let's talk about the
winner of last week's book give away, the five love languages by Gary Chapman which
is, I've said it, it's an amazing book, you should definitely get it, it will improve
your life on so many levels, the five love languages is going out to Tanya Clayy, congratulations
Tanya, amazing job. So this has been an amazing Mindset Monday Fitlifer, I appreciate you
for taking the time and improving your life, improving your mindset, improving your physical
health, and becoming a better person, remember we're in this together, and I'll see you next
week.
