The Atlas Reaction Calorimeter is high performance, excellent value and
easy to use.
Using either Heat Flow Calorimetry or Power Compensation Calorimetry Atlas
Atlas can generate real time power and enthalpy graphs for exothermic or
endothermic processes. This makes it an extremely powerful tool for quantifying
safety data and understanding reaction kinetics.
Vessel sizes from 250ml to 2 litres and stirrers can be changed in
under a minute allowing full flexibility of your calorimetry set up.
Atlas PC Software offers truly easy calorimetry operation.
Configuration of parameters such as reaction temperature,
dosing quantities, expected power level and alarms are defined in an easy to use
wizard.
When running the experiment, everything is controlled automatically including
stabilization at desired reaction temperature, reagent addition and
in the case of Heat Flow calorimetry, pre and/or post run calibration. No user
intervention is required during the entire process.
All data is continually logged to a common csv file and displayed by the
software in graph format in real time.
The software automatically includes the calibration, compensates for
the enthalpy of addition and deviations from isothermal conditions.
Analysis is simple
using the Atlas Software featuring single click plotting of power and
enthalpy and automatic compensation for sensible heat of addition and change in
UA.
